Depends upon who is answering this VERY VAGUE QUESTION !
If you're "religious", then most religions say NO ! Marriage only.
If you're liberal, it's fine. Find YOUR OWN HAPPINESS IN LIFE>but beware ! Gay "life" is HARSH, CRUEL, and sexually-oriented to the point of self-destruction. But, then, there are nice gay people, too -- but too much of "gay life" revolves around HOT PORNO-STUD TYPES and fantasy thinking. That's not life, just GAY GHETTO THINKING (especially on Castro Street, dear !).
God doesn't like homosexuality (I'm Catholic), and I tend to agree with that (we must OBEY GOD, or Heaven Help US !!). I've lived a gay life (now age 46) and it has been VERY HARD, LONELY, FRUSTRATING (with all the endless, meaningless sex), and FUN, TOO !
GOOD LUCK ! But don't put all your hopes into gay life -- there WILL BE A LOT OF PREJUDICE AND DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR OWN 'KIND", trust me !

The urges are not the problem. Those can be dealt with in a meritorious manner. The "ok" factor goes out the window when a man or woman who is "gay" acts upon it. That is when the soul has fallen from grace and will be damned to hell unless they repent before they die.

It's absolutely okay. You must be true to yourself..If your a gay person living a lie being with a straight person then how can you ever really love them without telling them the truth..You must be yourself and never hide or be ashamed..

It is not ok to be gay... but no matter what, god will still love u. fIn the books of Leviticus ( 18th chapter, I think ) and Romans, they can pretty much explain why it's not ok...

Yes, it is. If you are a gay teen struggling with this you, google Betty DeGeneres. She is Ellen's mom and has a great advice column.

Nobody is born gay. God's word the Bible forbids the homosexual lifestyle. We all struggle with various kinds of temptation and God loves us and wants to help us to overcome temptation through Jesus Christ.

If you were gay
It would be ok
I mean cuz hey,
I'd like you anyway
If you were queer
I'd still be here
Year after year
because you're dear to me
And I know that you
would accept me to
If I were to say "hey guess what - I'm gay!"
If you were gay
I'd shout hooray!
