I have a baby rabbit that is about 2 months old. I've had him since he was born along with 3 other bunnies. I play with him all the time but sometimes when I hold him he bites me. Also sometimes whenever I try to get him out of his pen he won't let me catch him!How can I stop him from doing that??

It is normal, so don't take it personally. So I'll tell you what you're supposed to do when this happens again, ok? When he bites you, you make a highpitched scream. Bunnies make a shrill scream sound when they are really scared, so when you do that, they can relate and won't do it again. You might have to repeat this a couple of times, but it should work..I
promise!

Maybe when the rabbit bites you, he's trying to get your attention and doesn't know any other way to do so. When I first got my pet rabbit, she tried to bite me quite a few times and wouldn't let me catch her. Usually when she tried to bite me, I would let her go back into her cage and find out she needed to poo or she was really thirsty/hungry. To get your rabbit out of his pen, I've found that gently petting my rabbit calms her down until she lets me pick her up. Giving your rabbit a treat when you want to get him out may work as well to allow you to catch him.

I found that my rabbits grew out of the biting thing the more I played with them. When I was trying to get them out of the cages I just opened the door and walked away. As soon as I turned around they hopped right out. Good luck.

Rabbits vary a great deal in temperament. Some you just have to learn to enjoy without holding. Castration may calm him somewhat, making him less frisky around other rabbits too.

rabbits don't really like being held. However, as stupid as this sounds, when he does bite you need to make a high pitched EEEEE sound. That is the noise a rabbit will make when it is in pain. It worked on my rabbits when they were babies. http://www.rabbit.org

Bunnies don't like the be held. Also, if it's a female, it might be due to stress/hormones and it might be time to get it spayed/neutered. But yea, bunnies don't like being held; they like being cuddled.

Scold him when he does bite you. About the running thing- you have to spend more time with him- and when you do practice picking him up.
