I have a question....why is there "Gay Day" at Disney World? I mean how did Disney get "sexual" anyway? Why (if they do this) don't they have a special heterosexual day too? I mean both can go all the time anyway - SO WHAT IS THE POINT? And why at Disney World?

I will repeat - after reading some answers - I am NOT against anyone who is gay. If I was I wouldn't have a problem saying so here.

This world is very twisted. Maybe they think that if they are "politically correct" then they will get more customers (as if that's a problem, anyway).

By the way, does anybody know that there is a new Batman & Batwoman comicstrip coming out with Batwoman gay? I find this to be an outrage!

It is not a Disney thing it is for those who choose to be homosexual and it allows them to enjoy the day with others who are the same sexually! Get over it, if you don't like it don't go to Disney that day!

And that is from a heterosexual male who would take his kids on that day or any day to Disney! I have many homosexual friends and they are great people!

I agree with you! I'm at a house party and some of the people here are gay and just found it very hypocritical of Disney to have a Gay Day.... is really just a marketing ploy to increase their revenue!!! They don't give a DAM about people they just care about MONEY...... As parents we pay whatever it takes to see a smile in our kids ...... that is just the way it is!!!

There is a day that they meet at Disney and Six Flags in Atlanta too.
The day at disney is not a park event, it is just decided and gay people go. I guess you would have to look into on gay sites.
The six flags day in Atlanta might have been planned by the park through.
We couldn't get a straight answer from the people in Atlanta.
(We were on vacation)

You make a really good point. The gays want to be treated like everyone else so why give them a special day.

it's all about the benjamins. there was also concern when gay day was being organized without Disneys consent. they decided to go along with it and make it known it was coming as a sort of warning and a sort of welcome at the same time. they were stuck in the middle.

They wouldn't do it if they weren't making money at it. This way they can promote it and everyone who comes that day knows what is going on...no one should be offended AND no one will be scared to go with their same gendered partner for fear of any public scorn.

Maybe churches should have gay days to forgive them of their sin. And, have murder day as well. Oh, I'm on a roll!

I have never heard of "Gay Day" at Disneyworld. I think it would've definitely been a topic of discussion at CNN
