I have tried several(5) props . Every one does excatly the same thing. Boat runs GREAT up to 3,000 rpm. The it quits making power. Engine WILL increse in rpm but the bow noses over and just quits making power till power is reduced to under 3,000 rpm.
Any ideas??I have tried all trim settings .

Try a composite-4 blade prop. There about $100. Also, try adding a "whale fin" (not sure of actual product name) to the motor. It attaches to motor, just above the prop and is designed to keep the bow level, but I've found it to also reduce cavitation.

To really fix cavitation though, the prop needs to be lower in the water.

You folks need to include more info in your posts!!!!!!
Good example here. A simple history of boat operation, because something has changed since the last time it performed correctly.
Did you add a hundred gallon water tank on bow? Did you you run into bank and front sponson is full of water.
Were any of the 5 props new? Are you new owner?
Was engine or outdrive replaced?
Ever hear of a dole-fin???? Put the heavy gear/folks in rear.

prop hub bad maybe. it should slip at a lower rpm though. but if it is slipping this would cause loss of power and of course the bow would come back down. but the engine would still rev.......hub.
