I have a picture of a car. I want to crop around the whole car even the round parts of it. I need to do this so I can add this car to a avatar. Thanks in advance.

You need photoediting software to do a crop. (Photoshop, Elements, Picture It, etc.)
Do a Select of the area around the car. (Rectangle is easiest) Photoshop also has a Lasso type Select that could get just the car shape.
Then do an Edit/Copy
After the Copy, do a File New. You will get a blank canvas just big enough for what you Copied.
Then do Edit/Paste. The selected pic of the car will be in the new pic. Save it!
Or if you already have the avatar, Edit/Paste right into it. (you may have to adjust the size first)

since you didn't mention what image editing program you have you can use an online image editor this time.

you'll see a series of dropdown menus accross the screen. look for the one with FIle: in it. Open it and click on OPEN.
this will take you to a page where you can upload your image.
on the next page click on another dropdown menu that says Edit: and click on Crop.
when your image opens in the next page click the top left place you want to start cropping. then on the next page click the bottom right place on the image.
when you have clicked it you will go to another page. if the image is how you want it the right click it and click save image as to save it to your hard drive.
you'll have to rename it since the server will change the original name.
do this a couple of times with different images to get the hang of it. then do your car image.
for those of you that use a public computer like i do this site is handy to have in your favorites.
you should download the following program if all you have is windows paint.

You can do that in any Image editing software like Photoshop, Ulead Photoimpact, GIMP(freeware) etc., so that you'll end up with the car photo with a plain background.

buy jasc paint shop photo album. If you have a digital camera, there are picture editing sofwares in the cd included. click edit then crop. and adjust.
