I am unsure when the 2nd trimester starts....This is my 1st pregnancy and I've read it's at the end of the 12th week and that it's the end of the 13th week starting at 14 weeks? When does it start??

Since 40 weeks is term it should be about every 13 weeks.

1st trimester = 1-3 months
2nd trimester = 4-6 months
3rd trimester = 7-9 months
The second trimester starts the next day after you're exactly 3 months pregnant. I'm also pregnant with my first child and in my 2nd trimester. Your doctor should give you information about your pregnancy that will guide you through labor. Plus, you should be doing regular check ups with your doctor and this is the best time to ask her/him. You shouldn't be afraid to ask, you are paying them to help you.

Its at the end of the 12th week...so starting the 13th week is the second trimester

once you hit the start of your 15th week you are in your 2nd trimester and once you hit the start of your 29th week you are in your 3rd trimester

a good book to get is what to expect when you expecting it has everything you need to know and more. i am also pregnant and this book has helped me and my boyfriend understand it more..
