If you're bored with all the old horror movies you should try Asian horror - it's way scarier but they usually have good stories as well. Some good ones are,
The Eye
Ringu trilogy
The Doll Master
A Tale of Two Sisters

Not much has been released recently but Saw1&2 are pretty awesome and I have only heard about The Hills Have Eyes but I heard it was sooo much that even guys were walking out the theatre. You gotta see See No Evil when it comes out that movie was EXCELLENT!

Saw 1 and Saw 2 are good movies. They arent exactly horror but more gory, torturous but very very good and well directed and thought of films. The Omen is another good horror movie.

Have you seen "Three Extremes". That was a pretty good movie. If you are not limited to recently released movies, check out " Angel Heart".

I am usually a huge scary movie fan and am hard to scare but I just recently saw the movie Saw and I wouldn't stay by myself for a long time. Right after the movie was over my husband had to go to the bathroom...let's just say that I was really glad we have a large bathroom and that he only had to pee!

I just saw one recently that was on DVD. I don't think it made it to theatres but it should have. It stars Maria Bello from Coyote Ugly. It's called The Dark. Rent it, you won't be dissappointed. I'm a 23 year old male and found myself hiding sometimes.

I saw this on MySpace...it is called Murder-Set-Pieces. It is a fake snuff film, but it is very graphic with the death scenes and is supposed to be pretty scary. I haven't seen it yet though. I have it on my list in Netflix. Check it out on IMDB.com, maybe they have a trailer. Or Netflix.

It's recent, Asian and what a horror movie should be!
"Audition" is another EXCELLENT Asian film. I sorta like the "Ginger Snaps" series and Rob Zombies movies "The Devils Rejects" and what's the name of his other one?
