The most fortunate thing is everything other than things as adulterated around the time when being born, including now that they can't kill us because there is pure goodness.

Not to sound corney but....I am most fortunate for meeting my husband. I love him soooo much. HE thanks me all the time for loving HIM. I have an illness and he takes such good care of me. He makes sure I take my medicine, he talks to my Drs. because I can't remember what they said. He is my absolute HERO! Some men would have said "screw this sickness and health stuff". I'm outa here. He stays and holds me when I have chills. He is the best!

Meeting the guy I'm with now. He makes up for all the bad stuff that ever happened to me, because he treats me the way I deserve to be treated. Just when I think things can't possibly get any better, they do, and I'm kinda wondering if it's possible to explode from happiness. ;)

I was born. In order to be born I must have won out over millions and possibly billions of other sperm haploids that were trying to unite with my mothers unfertilized egg. On top of being the one who made it, I wasn't aborted. I won the genetic lottery and appreciate it every day. I couldn't ask for more, though I often do. ;)

Having my son. I learn so much from him, and from having him around. So much has changed in my life and it is so wonderful to watch him grow. He brings out the best in me. Everyday. And he always reminds me that miracles happen.
