Honestly, it's a little much, but most definately not over-weight. I'm 5'9 too, and I weigh 145...and I would like to lose about five pounds or so.
The difference between me and you, however, is the fact that I'm 27 and have done all of the growing that I'm going to do; I've been this height since I was 12.
I would suggest that you not stress out about it. You're young, still growing, and NOT overweight. Has your doctor expressed concern about your weight? If he/she has, I'd be surprised.
All-in-all, I'd say just give it time. A lot of teens go through a "chubby" stage.

NO!!!!!!!!!!! You're 5'9" and that is a healthy weight!! But if you are worried about it, keep in mind that you are 14 and you will go through more changes and chances are you will lose the weight that you might think is "extra" as you mature. If you were to weigh around the 110 lb mark like some previously said you should, you would most definately be TOO skinny. Base your weight on your height, not your age.

well I'm 5'6 and 103....but my parents are thin. So you are probably just a tad overweight. Be honest with yourself...what do you see in the mirror? I am ABSOLUTELY NOT trying to insult you!!!! I;m just saying...be honest with youself. Since you are asking this question, I assume that your weight is bothering you a little. Ask your parents about what they think. If you decide to lose any weight, start slow and easy by doing some exercise...but don't just stop eating...because that's very dangerous. Just relax and you'll be fine. Much luck!

What size is your body frame? You check this by measuring your wrist with your other hand. If the fingers over lap, you have a small frame, if they touch you have a medium frame and if they do not touch you have a large frame.
Assuming you have a medium frame you are only two pounds over you "ideal" weight based on your height/frame.
Please keep in mind what kind of weight you have as well - if you are muscular you are going to be heavier than if you are soft.

Yo, crazy girl....100-115lbs is for someone under 5'3", NOT a 5'9". You're gonna make this poor girl crazy with that answer.
OP: your wieght is fine for your height. Wear some shorts and show off those long legs and enjoy your summer!

Too Much????????
Go out with your friends and have fun. Don't bother with worrying about what other people think. You are you and as long as you are content with yourself and you life, screw them. (and especially ignore all people who tell you what you should and should not be- ie: the 100-115 lb. person)

completely normal...the person who said you should be 100 lbs is completely unaware of the body height weight ratio.
