Don't make prom an obsession. Every detail does not need to be perfect. Only go with people you want to go with.. don't rent a limo or bus and then scrounge for ten people you don't really care for to fill it up. Also, how much you spend does not equal how much fun you have. Especially if you are paying for everything yourself. You will be less stressed out if you opt to have a friend do your hair, your dress isn't 200 dollars and you don't rent a stretch hummer.... My junior prom i spent over 200 hundred dollars (not counting what my date spent on me) but I had a horrible time because it wasn't what i wanted or planned it to be. My senior prom I spent less than 100 dollars and let everything go... I had a blast. Make prom a fun thing, not a scheduling disaster.

yeah, save money and don't go. Prom is stupid, just order a pizza and some strippers and you'll have a way better time

rent a limo cruised around go to prom then cruised on limo again grab something to eat and then crash a party

hang out with your friends as much as possible, dance as much as possible, and make sure you do something after prom. ESPECIALLY if it is you senior prom.... i just had mine last month

Just be yourself and make sure you make good decisions that night and make sure you go really pretty.(I am sure you'll go with a cool outfit)
