I filled out an online application for an aspire credit card and they approved me and said that I would recieve it shortly. How long is shortly? A week? A few days? Its just been 3 days but I was just wondering. I am trying to build up my credit and I just bought a house and thats the only thing on my credit and this is the first credit card that I have been approved for and I am growing anxious.

The whole process usually takes about 2-3 weeks before you actually get your card. They will also probably call you to verify that you applied for this card.

Don't worry it will come, it usually takes about a week or two after you have been approved. Here is a helpful hint from one that has one don't let in get behind the late charge fee is ridiculously high and if it double it's even worse. Never exceed your credit line and always stay a month or two ahead of your payment plan by paying the minimum and always date your check or money order for the month you are paying if you are going to pay to be a month or two ahead. This will help you out in building your credit a lot.

I would say about three weeks. It takes a little bit of time. But don't be so anxious to spend on it. Just having the line of credit open helps your credit. You don't want to get stuck with credit card bills you can't pay.
