well you want to meet some one who loves you and cares for you as soon as you find that person you never want to let them go so once you have fallen deeply in love with them you marry them and then the children are made out of an act of love and your so proud to think that there is a little of you in both in your children

I didn't used to want the whole happy marriage and 2.5 kids and a dog and a picket fence thing, because I didn't want to be like everyone else and end up having the same problems as everyone else. That and waking up and knowing I'd have to do the same thing today as I did every other day. But then I realized all my days were pretty much the same anyway, so I might as well be doing something more fulfilling with my life than sitting around staring at a computer screen and playing pointless games.
So I met a guy who seems like he'd probably make a good husband someday, and now even though I'm still not sure if I want the 2.5 kids part, I want most of the ideal, with a few changes. A happy marriage, a cat, and a balcony. Because when I think of how it'll be if things turn out right, it seems so peaceful yet invigorating. To have someone there who understands me, who I can share myself with without worrying that some random comment will make him hate me or think less of me. If he can give me that, then he's worth babying when he's sick and occasionally cooking real meals for. Plus I really wanna make a snowman on a balcony. It'd be fun! :P

The funny thing is I never did... until I met my husband!!
I had never thought about getting married and I often ran from men who wanted to pin me down. And, then, one night I walk into a bar and there he is. I do believe he is the one, my other half and he has "made" me want to life the rest of my life with him.
I want a family because I can`t live without this person by my side...

as humans we have the need and desire not to grow old alone. as women we have the need to take a man down into that miserable old age abyss with us (i'm kidding!) women have children because we want to hold and cuddle something sweet and innocent without the realization that these little bundles of joys will grow up to be teens whose only desires are to be driven to the mall, and use up all their time texting on cell phones. (come on teens, that was funny) we are people, we are pack animals, we dont like to be alone for the most part with a few exceptions.

Not everybody wants a family. We are all different - and thats what makes the world go around. For those of us that do have a family - we do it out of that making us feel happy ( i would hope)

It is part of our nature as human, born, grow, form a family, reproduce, die...
A family consists of a domestic group of people (or a number of domestic groups), typically affiliated by birth or marriage, or by comparable legal relationships — including domestic partnership, adoption, surname and (in some cases) ownership
