First of all, Jade lives in Bay area, California, just as the rest of the AFI gang does.

Second of all, do not even begin to compare Good Charlotte and AFI. Good Charlotte is crap. They're not punk. They don't even deserve to call themselves pop-punk. They're just pop. Pure, disgusting, worthless, unoriginal, mainstream pop. End of story. AFI was hardcore punk in thier earlier days, and though they have since mellowed out and turned toward a more alternative sound with just a touch of hardcore punk, they are still about 23347547326573 more punk than GC could ever hope to be. The fact that the members of GC try to dress punk doesn't mean jack if they don't have the sound and the lyrics to match their clothing. Actually, if you ask me, Benji's the only one in that band who has any talent and he'd be better off if he'd abandon GC and join a real punk band.

For the record, if you ever dare to call Good Charlotte "punk" in front of a real punk-rocker, expect to get the living crap kicked out of you.
