Lip piercings?

My friend and I want to get our Lips Pierced, but we're unsure of the gauge that is used to pierce the lip... or does the piercer ask what size? what is the smallest gauge that you can get thats easy to find jewlry for?

Most of the time a peircer will automatically use a 14 gauge needle. But you can request smaller sizes. Generally 18g is the smallest you can find in a labret. And 14g-16g-18g-20g for rings. Just remember the larger the number exp: "18g", the smaller the piece.

just make sure it looks good on u and that u can pull it off b4 u get it done
