Our chats do not accomplish a thing or change anyone's mind, or change anyone's point of view. Some people are nasty, some are reasonable, some are right, some are wrong. Some just more so than others. If we put this same energy into something really productive or helpful to the US or to mankind, we might accomplish something.

Maybe not.

Yes, some people are nasty, reasonable, right, wrong and to varying degrees.

However, I have seen some that actually try to get a point across and do so quite well. For those, I hope there is someone on the other end who is open minded and can understand another point of view.

Well, few care nothing about the issues. Most are just following the crowd or venting. I actually posted a similar question, and one answer stuck out more that the others. It explained that most people don't want to listen to someone elses opinion, God forbid they might learn something. Most people on the board have a "my way or the highway" attitude, thus the ranting.

I agree that alot of people on here are pushy and just plain rude. They try to push their opinions on others even though this site is for advice. That is the american way, no wonder other countries hate us. We may be free but we arent better than everyone else, jeez.
