If so, should we expect that God as the highest being should be a unity of persons (Doctrine of the Trinity)?

No clue what you are trying to say.
God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are One.
Infinite unity cannot be compared to finite unity.

Think of Water
Liquid H2o, Ice and Steam = All of them are water just in different forms.

God is omnipresent so you cannot level it as higher or lower.
He just IS.
God is Over all creation if that is what you mean. He created everything.

The greatest unity is the unity of ones self. To be able to love your self and others without any indifferences such as race color or creed.
