Immediately after a sting, elevate the limb that was bitten and apply ice or a cold compress — this will help reduce swelling and pain. There is no treatment for the venom itself, but anti-itch medications, such as hydrocortisone cream and diphenhydramine, both of which are available over-the-counter (without prescription) can be used to treat the symptoms. Also, a solution of half-bleach and half-water applied immediately to the sting might help alleviate pain. Once the pustule has formed, it needs to be washed regularly and gently, so as not to break it, avoiding a possible secondary infection.

All the answers and yet no one knew of this natural remedy. Do you have any meat tenderizer in the house? Meat tenderizer is made from enzymes. If you mix a bit with water and form a paste, put it on the ant bite and it will stop hurting!
Aloe Vera gel works too.

I agree. Emu oil is the best for ANY skin issues. Be sure to heat the oil in a sink of hot water for a few minutes for the best results. This oil doesn't clog pores and is absorbed into the skin and repairs what ails your skin. Do NOT microwave. Check the Internet for all of the things that emu can do. You will be amazed!

The "sting" is from Formic acid. The Baking soda works!! also bee stings. My cat was limping and crying. I put her paw in baking soda water and she instantly stopped crying and gave me a look of aw. I felt all powerful.

I was in Florida visiting friends when I was bitten 30+ times on my ankle.......( those little baztards!!! )
anyway...my friend put bleach ( yes, clorox ) on it with a cotton ball......worked great!!!! No sting or itch.....and also didn't get infected!!
by the way, bleach straight from the bottle is only 5% bleach with 95% water.......
just don't get any on your clothes

Try diluted VINEGAR!, just dab it on to the area. I know it works for some insect bites.
NOTE it will sting for short time.
Do not pick or prod the infected area, just leave it be.
have faith.
