First apply a concealer over your entire lid, it will help to keep eyeshadow looking better longer then try using "tan by MAC" I swear by it, it's a sorts of pinkish brown very pretty then apply a thin layer of black eyeliner to the outer top, inner top and inner bottom curl eyelashes with a eyelash curler and apply two or three coats of mascara. Your eyes will look amazing, I get sooooo many complements on my eyes. Good Luck

The other answers are good too....here's what I would do.....
Apply a light colored highlighting eyeshadow like Mary Kay's Moonstone, or the eyesicles in Vanilla. Put this all over from your brow line, to your lash line. Second pick out an Accent color such at Java Duo(a light brown), or Jungle Duo(pretty greens) the ligher color on the outer half of your eye lid, and in crease put the darker color. If you go with eyesicles you can use the Pink Frost, or the Island Bronze. After you have that on apply Mary Kay's waterproof, smudge resistant eyeliner in either Sable or Sage. Finish off with Ultimate Mascara in Black, Your eyes are going to *POP*!!
Follow up with Bronzing Powder on your cheeks, and Cocoa Creme Lip Gloss on your lips and you will be ready for anything!
Hope that helps, you can also go to my website: www.marykay.com/rbrower and click on the virtual makeover, and get some great ideas for your skin type, hair color, and eye color! It's a great way to "try it before you buy it" AND Mary Kay has 100% buy back if you are not satisfied (BTW did I mention free shipping anywhere in the US)

Easy! First, you are going to want to use a black to brown eyeliner and do a full line on the upper eyelid and only the last quarter of the bottom lid on the outer corner. Put eyeliner on first. Then get, depending on your mood, a soft purple, green, or medium brown eyeshadow and dust in the crease of your eye, making a point from the corner of your eye to where your brow bone naturally ends. On the lid itself, use a lighter brown if you used brown in the crease. If you used Green or purple, use a softer color, like a tinted white or cream color, darker depending on your skin tone. Finish by dusting over the whole lid from lashes to brow with a sparkley color, I prefer a sparkley silver. The light tone softens the colors. If you need it softer still, use pressed powder to go over the shadow with. When you have finished, use a brown or medium black mascara to make your eyes pop! I learned doing this when I was in a modeling class and have used it ever since. Aside from makeup, they told me, learn to convey emotion through your eyes. Think Doris Day. She could melt you with her eyes alone. When you feel something strong, send it through your eyes. This with the right make up and facial expressions make your eyes stand out! People remember me by my eyes...

My eyes are the same way, a very light brown thast turn green in bright light and sun. I wear teal, a lavendar purple, and green eyeshadow thinly applied to the top of my eye lid above my eyelashes then I bring it around and apply underneath very thinly to the bottom of my lashes. It looks awesome. Lipgloss to finish and curled eyelashes with black mascara.. try it. Here is a pick to help... Go to this site.. http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/rihanna/flipbooks.jhtml

I think that it is Almay that makes the make up for the color of your eyes and it is great. I have brown eyes and I can get it for that and it comes with eyeshadow, liner and mascara.

My answer is very simple but really works. First of all, get alot of sleep. Your eyes will pop out beautifully when it is rested and alert. Put Vasalene on your eye lashes before you go to bed. Then in the morning, it will be much easier to put your mascara. The key is to NOT wear eyeliner. It just dosn't work out. Another key is to wear white eyeshadow before you put any color eyeshadow on. Trust me, this helps. God Bless. :)

To open up your eyes and create the illusion of larger eyes, you can apply white or beige eyeliner around the inside "wet tissue" of the eyes (the inside rim).
For hazel eyes like yours (a mixture of green and brown) I would suggest wearing golden browns, warm taupes, deep purples, soft peaches and soft violets to bring out the green in your eyes. If your eyes are mostly brown, then you are in luck because most any color looks beautiful around brown eyes.

black eyeliner, not too much of it, just a little bit. make sure you frame your eyes equally while applying liner. blue eyeshadows make brown eyes stand out. and black mascara. preferably waterproof.
the eyeliner is the key.
