Well, you can get a free 360 account from Yahoo, which includes a blog that you can add to whenever you want.
The other popular blogging site is Blogger by Google.

sure there are a handful but I am almost positive that the 3 above will host your blog for you. you can download and install to run on your own server but for simplicity you can use any online blog engine to share your writing with the world.

www.xanga.com (where I have some poetry and short stories, etc.)
www.authorsden.com (an excellent site because it actually connects you with other writers, even published writers)
www.fanfiction.net (specifically for fan fiction)
www.fictionpress.com (specifically for fiction)

I trust CDEW that in case you're operating a weblog you need to apply blogger. the numerous reason is that blogger is owned through Google so that you do not might want to fret about climate or no longer Google will index it.
