I used to get acne alot. But latley I have gotten it to subside and my face is really clearing up!! YAY!! But I have some red patches on my face that wont go away. It's frustrating. I just want a healthy looking glowing face! I drink lots of water which they say helps alot and I take a multi vitamin and eat healthy. I think thats what helpes my face clear up. But I just cannot seem to get anything to work for the red patches left over.

Vitamin E works well also. You can buy it in liquid/gel form or you can buy the Vitamin E gel caps that people take as vitamins and split them. It calms the skin and reduces redness.

Use a face cleanser with salicylic acid in it...this ingredient helps to exfoliate dead cells and allows new cells to come in. The skin on those old acne marks is made up of old, dead skin cells.

Find an esthetician in your area who does peels and get a series of glycolics. Also sticking with a good homecare regimen will help a ton. I'm a licensed esthetician. Good luck!
