I dont read the bible as a science book, do you?
people read the bible because they believe the writers were inspired by a greater being while they were writing it.. it tells the story of a group of people being in contact with a divine being.. all these are not explained by science but by religion
Science should stay with what they can prove, and leave religion to faith

I see that you were looking for scientifically minded people to address your question...There is some logic in posting it in the Science-Other category.
However, without clarifying that this is what you're looking for, the question seemingly belongs in the Religion category.
Perhaps you could repost it, asking for certain people to respond, or maybe try to connect something from the bible to a scientific issue.

WTF? I already responded to your message explaining in great detail the reason that I said that. Let it go and stop getting all butt hurt over one freaking question.
You also said that you put it in that category because you THINK religion can be considered a science because that was the way it was at your school. You didn't say it was because you thought it was a non-religious question.
