Hell yea. Taxes suck. We pay taxes, and where does it go? To illegal immigrants on welfare? That's just one thing... New York's schools need to be perfected, but who the hell cares about that? All the money being spent on the stupid war should be spent on fixing the roads, schools and paying teachers higher salaries. I always hear that the children are our future, but then are sent to schools in dangerous areas and the schools often do not have enough or updated books, so what happens then? The whole system is backwards.

Taxes are the main source of federal income, and you can't run a government without them. Of course, they way and amount people are taxed isn't always fair. There are also alternative sources of income for state governments, such as toll roads. There is no way to get a government to stop taking a protion of your earned money, so even if taxes were eliminated, a new system would take its place.

One thing my dad always said to me was "there are only 2 sure things in life. Death and taxes." Don't see anyway out of it.
But I would sure like to have more say in where and how my tax money is spent.

I am with you man. Did you know that something like 55% of the United States employment is government jobs. That means the rest of us are out here busting our asses so they can rob our checks to pay themselfs.Tell me agian why they deserve $100.00 a week out of my hard earned money. Could you please explain to me what I am paying them for. It is hard working people like me and you that pay the way in this country and what do they do for us.

Well, the way the republican plutocracy has it set up is so that 99.9% of us work our butts off to support the .1% of the richest individuals thanks to bush's tax cuts for the ultra rich.
