It's fiction. It's made up. It's not intended to be true.

No, I don't believe it. The Da Vinci code is a work of fiction... both the book and the movie. What is real? The Bible.

The question I asked myself about the whole controversy is this: Does it change your beliefs at all?

If you were atheist before the whole Davinci Code thing, you're probably still atheist after going through it all

If you were a believer in Christ before the whole Davinci Code thing, you're probably still a believer in Christ after it's all said and done.

What if I told you George Washington was actually from Northern Africa and before he died, he made a list of his successors that would be accurately heeded to up until the 28th President?

I pulled all of that out of the hole between my lower cheeks. Just like Dan Brown did with the Da Vinci code!
See, anybody can do it!

Well it's a fiction movie...but...I'm a realist, there has to be some truth behind it. Think about it in the Bible there are 18 years of Jesus' life missing, not there, what happened during the ages of 12-30? Also do you think that a GUY would go for 30 years as a virgin?????Probably not. Which means there's probably descendants of Jesus himself out there.....Also did you know that Moses is an Egyptian name? Maybe Moses was Egyptian? Whose to really say the difference.... It is said that the Catholic Church wanted to hide the real facts in this subject, but who can blame them? In the beginning of religion there was a Catholic King who decided to kill anyone who was not of the same religion as he and his orders were followed out, I think MAYBE religion was a scare tactic to do what the King said and it's just been passed down as truth...

Absolutely not.

I have not/will not ever see it. I think that movie is a horribly disrespectful piece of trash. The fact that it is fiction means nothing to me. I just don't agree with the whole idea that the movie is trying to pass off as "entertainment". Mocking our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is shameful, and definately not worthy of being referred to as "entertainment".

It says a lot about the people involved in it... The whole thing saddens me, for them, and for the the youth that will grow up thinking that that warped mess is some sort of "truth".

Please..... Fiction is not real, although Dan Brown did find references to that theory during his research the book is still fiction. Opus Dei exists but it isn't like it is in the book, it is a Catholic praying society without albino killer monks. C'mon, does that even sound real? Albino Killer Monk, more like a teenage slasher flick. Nothing else is real either, but it is a fair mystery book with a lot of hype, to Dan Brown's happiness.

It's just fiction. Dan Brown is only using creative liscence to make an interesting plotline. The Church just doesn't seem to get that.
