There is NO next Michael Jordan. Not Wade, and especially NOT Kobe. Give Jordan his due, he is the greatest. Wade is a great player for sure. He has a ton more to accomplish before we make that comparison. Kobe is entirely too selfish and egotistical to be the next Michael. On two different occasions, he made his team lose to prove a point, one in the NBA Finals in 2004 vs. Detroit, costing the Lakers a championship, and secondly, this year versus Phoenix.

there is no question that MJ is the greatest player 2 ever play the game, but he did not do it by himself, he always had great players around him, in the early 90's he had paxson, pippen, cartwright, armstrong, he didnt do it by himself, and in the 2nd run he had pippen, rodman, kerr, kukoc, dewayne still has a lot 2 accomplish b4 he can get compaired 2 MJ, although after what iv'e seen in his 1st 3 years him and lebron would b the closest canidate, theres no dought that wade is a great player, top 3 in the nba, and he's only gonna get better, 10 yrs from now we will c how much he has improved and close is he 2 b compared 2 MJ.

No one will ever be the next Mike Jordan, but D-wade is a hell of a ball player. He does one thing most ball players don't do and that is show up during crunch time. Detroit has to be kicking it self for not drafting him, instead of Darko.

I don't think MJ was the best all around player ever, but he was definitely the best and most unstoppable scorer, the best leaper/dunker, and the best clutch player ever.
I respect Wade to a point, and that point is all the girly fouls the refs call for him.
I don't think he would get as many free throws even in the WNBA!

I don't know. I'll say he has the potential but until Wade wins four championships without Shaq then we can say he is. He has to prove himself first.
But there will never be someone better than MJ, he was THE best. Wade will be a great but never better than MJ.
