Baby alphabet blocks are cute- I don't know if you can buy drawer pulls like that though- you might have to take real blocks and modify them to fit the existing drawer attachment.

No real offense meant and I get it. I also find the other answers valid. I do suspect that the decorating is more about your choices than what the "baby" will even realize exists in the room.

That said however, I most enjoy creating rooms for children, but also realize that as they grow, they evolve in and out of likes and dislikes.

If you are looking at just drawer knobs, expand that thought and theme the entire room, having the drawer knobs coordinate.

Faux finishing a kids room is a fave of mine, in many themes, I'd suggest go all the way, but remember that a babies room should be a calming, peaceful place. Anything too abstract, too animated, too sparkling or lit up, will b e distractive.

Get one of those small baby changing tables so you can store diapers and wipers and hang all your child's clothing. I had to do that because my daughter usually rips all the clothes out of her drawers anyways. I even hung her undies in the closet. If there isn't a closet use a rod and hang all the clothing on that. You could even get a crib with a drawer or two under it. Also shelving works good it can be used for decorations giving the baby room a more homey feel.

If you want to be clever you could use something unexpected like

You can take off the old pulls and replace them with small tools or blocks. Also, you can cover the old ones with craft-clay and make them any way you want. Just cover and bake!

find some A,B,C, blocks and attach them with screws from inside the drawer. these blocks may be a little hard to find now.
GOOD LUCK!

what we did to be different is we went to the craft store and got some clay that you put in the oven. you make any kind of shape you want then push a screw into it and bake. then you can paint them if you want. one of a kind handles.
