I'm not sure about your question, but make sure you go to your local Social Security Office an apply for survivor benefits for you and your son. Go as soon as possible as the benefit will start on the day you apply not the day your husband died. Go in person and if they ask you if you want to make an appointment tell them you would like to see someone that day and you will wait for an available interviewer. You may have to wait a few hours but you will get everything taken care of that day. Take the death certificate with you as well as your son's birth certificate and as much other documentation you can think of. Don't worry if you don't have the right information with you they will still complete the application and you can bring the rest at a later date.

I would think so from a medical viewpoint anyway. People in authority, especially Republicans, can be really rude. Can you afford a lawyer? Republicans would like to wipe them out also so they would be the ones to intrepret the law always.
