so 3/2x - 1/4 = 1/x
first, try 1. so 3/2(1)=3/2, or 1 1/2, which, minus 1/4 is 3/4, not 1/1.
now, try 2. so 3/2(2)=3/4, which, minus 1/4 is 1/2, perfect!

I dont know exactly how to do the algebra involving fractions, but simply plug in 2 and it turns into 3/4-1/4=1/2

lets see if i got this strait((3/(2x-1))/4)=(1/x) right
sox*((3/(2x-1))/4)=1
so x*(3/4)=1/(2x-1)
sox=.75/(2x-1)
sox= sorry out of time
