The IMAX theatre in Des Moines is a dome theatre and curves the image, distinctly on the perimeters. I would see it in a regular theater, so long as you mean with a nice large screen, surround sound, and comfy stadium seating.

IMAX is just too big for some things. I really don't need to know what an actor's nose hair looks like.
