Carol Burnett once compared it , by instruction to "pull out your bottom lip and drape it over the top of your head", thats what it feels like.

A beautiful moment of a little head coming through the birth canal in some cases the feet first. It all depend on the individual that is giving birth. There are different degrees of pain depending on the mother that is giving birth and her condition. My first child I felt 100% pain and stayed in label for a whole day. I suffered much pain and I screamed to the top of my lungs! The second child in which came along seven yrs later, I felt about 89% 0f pain and he was born less then five hrs. I had less complications. The third child that came along six yrs later I felt about 86% of pain. I stayed in label about three hrs. When I tried to push with all I had, everything around me turned very bright as though the appearances was bright as light bulbs. It was a strange encounter. A nurse had asked me did I see anyone wearing a halo. The answer was "no." But every ones birth experience is different in some way except the pain! Some experience a lot of pain and some experience a little pain.

Giving birth is a beautiful experience, both to see and feel, and nothing is beautiful until every experience has been felt. Pain, happiness, sadness joy, terror and worry, a feeling of loss but an overwhelming feeling of protectiveness and gain, and at the end thankfulness. But to be truly honest when I look back to when I was giving birth it was more emotional and spiritual then painful. { but remember that's when I am looking back...epidurals can be a life saver to the mother to be and especially to the father to be=)

A lot of pain and yelling. But once that little bundle is in your arms, you forget the pain and yelling.

It feels like you are pooping out all your insides.
You don't even want to see what it looks (or smells) like!
