I just moved to a lakehouse in Georgia. They call it a lake, but it seems more like a big pond. 15-18 acres large. I saw one duck last week, but she's gone now. I've seen other ponds nearby with lots of ducks and geese. Any suggestions?

I would suspect they'd hang out where the food source is good. Ducks and geese like to eat whatever lives in ponds/lakes, sometimes they eat hard boiled eggs, fruit or lettuce. You might also try putting up food stations. Feed stores usually don't have duck food, but ducks do well on chicken feed, just make sure it's NON MEDICATED because medicated chicken feed will make ducks very sick and might even kill them. Just don't feed ducks too much bread. It makes an ok snack once in a while, but it has no nutrional value for them.

Buy decoys, or buy a couple of ducks and release them. Others will come.
