What year is it. I just found a 50 centavos coin (1/2 a peso) from 1988 and it's worth nothing. There was a major devaluation of the peso in the early '90's and they re-issued everything in new notes and coins.

I live on the border and travel to juarez chihuahua mexico to party pretty often. one peso is about a dime in america. it's not an exact number but its just a general rule of thumb we go by. example. something that is 100 pesos is 10 U.S. dollars
