I dont really know what rabble-rousing is, maying that's a phrase from a different century...but anyways, I drink because it eases your nerves and helps you have a good time without worrying about all the troubles of life. It gives you a chance to take a vacation from all things serious and irritating.

They are enjoying being young. They are enjoying the lack of responsibility that they will miss so much in a few years. If it does not effect you personally why worry about it? Most people grow out of it and become productive citizens. (I said most LOL)
As for me, I don't really know what any of that is like because I have been being the responsible adult since before I was even really an adult. But since that's a choice that I made, I'm OK with it. I don't really think that I missed out on much :P
