well that depends, is she just a friend? how far apart do you live, i mean is it so far that you couldn't get there for the prom? is this an online thing? most long distance relationships don't work out, for sure they won't work with someone in high school, too many hormones running around there. more info would be helpful though.

Have some big well hung stud take you to your prom or something similar. Make sure you take a picture of him with his arms arouns you and his hands on the kitty or boobs. Bonus points if the guy is of the opposite race of your b/f for some reason this drives most guys ape-sh!t crazy...

Dump him. If you meant that much to him he would have went out of his way to take you instead. She's probably his real girlfriend anyway. He wouldn't have told you about it if he wasn't trying to send you a message. I feel bad for you sweetie. It's time to move on.
