that all depends on you and your spouse! if you are secure with staying at home taking care of the family then stay, but if you want to work then work! this is something you and your spouse should discuss

It is a noble thing that a man take care of all the family needs when it comes to financial stability. I started out saying the same thing but my ex wife knew and said that if we were going to have anything, she needed to work also. She was right, but, it cost us our marriage at the 20 year mark. She had an affair with her boss and is now his wife. Oh well! I would love to say that my second wife did not have to work, but she also likes the nice things in life. I do pretty well, as in salary, but the extras are easier to come by that she is working also. Good Luck!

I believe that the man and woman should both work to support each other. I know it's hard times these days to find and keep a job, but it is only fair that both sexes work.

Whatever works best for your family. As for ours, we knew before we had children that it would work best for us if I stayed home with any kids we would have (we have 3 now...LOL).
My husband and I both appreciate and deem worthy the work that each other does. We have different roles.
When I'm asked "What do you do?", I tell them that I stay at home. Most times I get "Oh, I wish I could do that". Sometimes I get a "I could NEVER EVER do that!".

These days, to be able to truly have any kind of decent life, it usually takes two people working. Only people with an income of over $15.00 an hour can probably pull it off.
