why are liberals so unwilling to let conservitives voice their opinion on college campus without getting crazy

When conservitives like Ann Coulter speak they are impuned (for u liberals that means scoffed at , or ridiculed). But we are respectfull of other opinions on our campus

I have seen very few conservatives that let a liberal finish a sentence before they start calling names or screaming at them.

As for Ann Coulter, she is most likely a closet nazi sympathizer. All she does is spread hate and discontent.

Personally, I think that everyone is entitled to their opinion. But by that same token, as Harlan Ellison says, "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But only shoudl you speak out with an INFORMED opinion." Ann Coulter is proof of the rule. She opens her mouth solely to hear herself speak. She has an opinion, just not an INFORMED opinion. She refuses to seek out facts or she ditorts them so much that you don't know where she got them. And the hate and vile thoughts she spews turns my stomach.

I think that if everyone did their own research and looked at things with an open mind, then this world would be a much better place. I try to allow people to tell their side, sometimes I don't succeed, but I try. Which I see more from liberals than from conservatives.

First off, you don't have to be arrogant and condescending.

Second, Ann Coulter is allowed to speak on campuses and the witch spews alot of venom. Yeah, that's good for the country. But that's her right-- and MO to sell more books of course.

There's plenty of scoffing going on with both sides.

You probably ought to get a clue that many college campuses tend to be pretty leftie to begin with. So spewing radical right wing stuff won't go over well. That said, righties (and lefties) have every right (within reason of course) to speak on campus.

You really have not given any reasonable examples -other than Coulter. amend your question with some specific examples of this.

Ann Coulter has not ever been respectful in her life, you really should look up the definitions of words you don't understand before you attempt to use them in questions. Further more check her facts 99% of the time she is off the mark with facts. I do not like her because she is dishonest, and is nothing more than a talking head for people who's sole desire is to destroy this nation from within. For your information that does not make me a liberal it makes me an American who has read, and understood the inheritance left by my forefathers in a document called the Constitution. I would advise that you do the same before you start boxing people who oppose this administration or their talking heads.

They are too afraid the truth will come out and show they have no platform and no ideas. They stumble when asked about their views and they have no morals and no place to go. They can't stand Ann Coulter because her claims can all be verified. If I was being lead by people like Hillary,Kerry and Dean I would be angry and jealous too. They name call and send Ann death threats, What kind of party does that? They need to go live in a country that supports their socialist ideas. Take from the smart & rich and give to the lazy, unwilling to work poor people who abuse the system. Bill wasn't too articulate when he couldn't stop saying he did not have sexual relations with that woman! He lied and he did and he lied to all Americans. If Bush got into college because of his rich parent's so did Hillary, Bill and Kerry, last but not least Howard Dean the nut case. See it works both ways... but Our President Mr Bush didn't do the nasty in the oval office.Clinton shamed this great country by his lack of strength.

Actually, it's not "impuned", it's "impugned". And it doesn't mean "ridiculed", it means "attacked as false" or "challenged in argument". Check before you toss out attitude, hon.

I used to attend a public college in an fairly conservative state and we used to ought to have safe practices for all intense profile travellers, particularly liberal persons, so i does no longer bypass round generalizing that that is liberals who reason the themes. Gay = Sin in Bible
Iraq = Duty in Bible
Environment = Not mentioned in bible, so dont wanna talk/ dont care
