Carl Sagan's ashes are not in outer space, he is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Ithaca, NY

Even if his ashes are in space, you could not see them, espeicially with the naked eye. I'm not sure about a telescope, but I am sure it would take a VERY powerful one to do so....

To see the vessel you would need a very powerful telescope. So chance are not that good of seeing it.
