i don't think any words would be obsolete, but new words would be addedd and the way the are used might change. Look at Julius Caeser by Shakespeare, the english has transformed but not that much that we can't understand it. I don't think i've found any word in the old books which is not used today.

When compared to what it was like, say 5 years ago, yes, the jobs are dwindling to EMR, out-sourcing and voice recognition. So if you were thinking you could get certified quickly and then run right into a job for college, that probably will not happen, as experienced transcriptionists will have most remaining jobs snapped up.

most words don't become obsolete just there meaning change. go back 70 years and look up Zoot . Gay and Normal. or any popular song

Mostly names for objects that will become replaced by other technology. I think 'newspaper' will be one of the main ones.

People already don't know that the 'CC:' on email stands for 'carbon copy'.

There are... most people say There's, then follow it with a plural noun of sorts.
