The same song is being played in the stadiums over the p.a. system as players walk off the pitch and salute the crowd. It sounds operatic or classical.

The name of the song is "A time to make friends" and is
about the special feeling that the game brings to people.
soccer is about making friends. remember at the end of the day. is just a game...

Im not sure,Ive never heard the song being played after a match but the official anthem for this world cup is "celebrate the day".That could be it.
but i heard people say that the song is Go West by the Pet Shop Boys.
but i think the song is indeed "Stand Up! (Champions' Theme)" performed by Patrizio Buanne
