when you are out of your service area, (city, country.....) and you still have a signal reception.

the best thing is that u can call up the customer care and ask them wether ur roaming service is being activated or not. as because it is in the hands of the service provider u are using.

It depends on your Service provider & your options (wether you have opted for it or not )

It doesnt depend on the brand of yyour cell phone
