I say he was the best,I still miss him to this day,The Big Show aint quite as big and The Great Khali doesn't impress me(remember El Gigante),keep this in mind,Andre was 7'4,560lbs. when he died,but because of his bad health his wieght actually shrunk him,the coroner said that his true height was closer to 7'8

Andre the Giant, whose true height was actually around 6'10, was the best big man in the business.
He pretty much knew how strong he really was and was able to hold back his punches and chops UNLESS you angered him.

I don't know how old many of you answering this question are. If you had the chance to see andre in like 1980, then yes, Andre the Giant was the best, no title, but the best.
If you watched Andre after about Wrestlemania, his moves became slow, and it was painful to listen to him speak as he didn't know what he was saying all the time.
And I quote Mean Gene Okerland "Well Andre, it appears that you have won the World Heavyweight Championship"
Andre's Reply "See Gene, I told you I would win the World Tag Team Championship"

Nonetheless, 6 moves, Chop, punch, headbutt, Butt in the corner, Bad Suplex, and Choke... Don't comprise the best ever.
Mind you I loved Andre, but he should have known when to throw in the towel.

Andre The Giant was one of the greatest wrestlers of all
time. But, I believe Hulk Hogan was the greatest.
Remember Hulk beat Andre in a match where he actually
put Andre over his head and dropped him for the pin.

Big John Studd was great, not Andre.

No one was like Andre.
I did get to see him once late in his career. No man could compare to his size.
Ok, the Undertaker. Mean Mark is the man.
Sid was good, but I would say the Undertaker.

Andre was good in his time, but the best big man ever in wrestling has to be Big Van Vader. Dont just look at his WWE career because he was grossly misused there. look at old WCW matches and matches from Japan.
