Before becoming a teacher, I worked for 7 years as a make-up artist. Apart from stage make-up (necessary for plays, pageants, and other performance-type events), I think that make-up should be used as an enhancement tool only. Sure, we like to cover up our imperfections if we can -- a little concealer on a zit or dark circles under our eyes -- but beyond that, what we put on our faces should enhance the features we like best, not cover them up with color and muck! MOST guys/men will tell you that the less make-up a girl wears (or the less obvious the make-up is!), the more attractive they are. But the real question is -- once you lure someone in with your looks, do you have the charisma and personality to back them up?

I made up a quote a long time ago that I think applies here:

"There are two kinds of women in the world:
those who 'make-up' pretty, and
those who WAKE up pretty!"

I looked at your 360* page, and from your pictures, you appear to "wake up" pretty!

And although it's an old cliche', there is truth to the idea that beauty is only skin deep. Think of the most beautiful (on the outside) people you personally know. Now, think of the most beautiful (on the inside) people you personally know. Which ones would you rather spend your time with?

Yes, the majority of the people in this world (myself included) are attracted FIRST to a person's exterior appearance, based on whatever our likes/dislikes are; but when we get to KNOW someone who made it past that first impression, only then can we determine that person's "true" beauty!

I know I over-answered here. Sorry.

I saw your pictures and you look like you have natural beauty so I would say no makeup. If you do want to wear makeup, put light makeup on. I like to use light makeup.

no makeup. I remember when I dated this girl where she wore a ton of makeup, and when I woke up the next day, oh, boy, she was fugly. Only wear heavy makeup if you are fugly, but I think that natural beauty is the key to a happy relationship.

I don't usually wear make-up. I'm no good at putting it on anyway and I would rather people think I look good "au naturale" because there are so many people who wear make-up or tell other people to wear it because they say/think they look better. If you are pretty, you are. Some of these people look awful whether they wear it or not. I don't mind it. I'll wear it occassionally for enhancing purposes or I'll wear black/purple make-up in the right circumstances but there is really no need for it all the time.

To be quite honest, too many females use too much makeup. I guess they like having raccoon eyes and black lips. A person looks more beautiful letting everyone see them in their natural state.

I think it's ok to wear a bit of makeup to enhance your features, but if it starts to look like a mask, it's way too much.
