BATMAN of course! He's the one superhero who is totally self made.. he created himself from scratch.. yes he already had cash and there was his parents thing but all his potential and meta human capabilities didn't come from a bite by a radio active bug or a mutation or any of that nonsense. He saw something wrong with the world (Gotham in particular) and decided not to just stand by and watch. I mean just look at his presence among the other so-called superheroes you can just feel the air of authority he possesses even with Superman himself around. And even on the action-kicking -*** level he actually defeated the man of steel in a combat (Frank Miller's The dark knight Returns-1986) .

Just copy pasted some of the qualities to be found in some of the previous answers....namely : ' He is nearly indestructible. Ages very slowly. And has weapons always at the ready just snickkkkk and out come the claws. Plus he has kickass hair and smokes. because sometimes I do not want to be found or seen. mystique totally. superheros don't have to always be good do they? because he is hardcore. he's strong and can probably live through anything. because he has kickass gadgets and a kickass butler. could kick butt, and not even have to be on the "good" side. Muahahahaha!... he's smart with a kickass attitude and the skills to boot. but. his parents had to die first. so, no after thinking about it. he's cool, snikt and all that, but he has a really messed up life/past... not really either. because of is intelligent play in the firm industry.'..........Sounds to me like the superhero could be a politician !.............Sorry,forgot one other very important one...'Made 52 million dollars in a weekend'..

If I could be a superhero i would be the best kind in the world. Do you want to know why it would be the best? It would be the best because I would just be me. I would have no superpowers or anything like that. We are all superheros we just have to search for it inside ourselves. I enjoy being me and you should enjoy being you.

If I could be any superhero I would be Spiderman. Imagine taking a walk in Boston or NYC and all of a sudden you think "hey you know what I dont feel like walking" So you CLIMB A BUILDING, and start webbing around the city. That would be the coolest thing.

Batman, defenitely. There's no gimick to Batman. No superpowers or invincibilities, he's all real. There is no superhero more in tune with the real world, that has to struggle with real life, quite like Batman. And he's not fighting simply for his own personal vendetta (which is how things started), he genuinly cares about the people he fights for. Point is, he's real. If I were a superhero, I would just want to be real.

I would be Poison Ivy. I know she's not really a "hero", but she is in a backwards sort of way because she saves the environment. So, even though she is considered a villain, I think that if I could be any superhero, that I would pick her!

If I could be a superhero, I would be either Profesor Xavier from the X-Men, or the Green Lantern. Profesor X can use his awesome mind powers to control other people, and the Green Lantern is just cool.
