I think because they have nothing better to do and it makes headlines. Just like her interview the other night, she's not that smart to put herself out there like that and if you haven't watched it, go to msn.com and read about it if you have the time. She did her own hair and makeup and looked like crap. The whole fact that she knows she's being constantly watched and continues to make certain mistakes definitely is all her fault because of course she will be criticized for anything she does wrong that isnt' "motherly like".

This IS America, get used to critisism, she knew what she was getting into when she became famous. Sadly, thats what being famous is all about is comparing,,judging,and critisizing!
I'm sure she wasn't always the nicest to other "famous" people when she was so-called "all that"!

Jealousy? Some people can't stand success in others, and start tearing it down out of spite. We are all human and see poor Britney's weakness, and that scares us, because she's supposed to be above us all. Those are three reasons, take your pick.

I think most guys have a hard time understanding what she did.
...Think about it: most dudes would give their left arm to be able to transform into a ridiculously hot chick. Britney was one, and she gave it up to become an overweight, hairy guy! What a waste... :(

Because she drove with her child on her lap. How gd stupid do you have to be to put your child in danger like that? Because she has already fractured the skull of one child, why the hell should she be having more.
Her behavior does not indicate she can provide the proper environment for raising a child.
