I didn't see the video...But my advice would be to definitly put her in dance! I have been involved in dance since the age of 3 and I honestly don't know where I would be without it. Dance gives you so many things that other sports and arts cannot. It gives you grace, flexibility, technique, style, confidence(which all little girls these days need),opportunity, discipline, strength....and soooo much more. Dance has opened up so many doors for me and taught me to believe in myself. I have succeded in dance through the help of many great teachers and instructors. I've been to NYC to dance, Chicago, Detroit, etc...Its in my blood...And I am so happy my mother decided to put me into it when I was a little girl. There were times when I wanted to quit...around 9 I think, but she persisted I stay in it. If you do decide to put her into a class choose ballet. It is the center of all dance forms...Add tap the next year and then go from there. Please choose your dance studio carefully. I don't know the area you are in but please make sure you have professional certified instructors teaching your daughter. She is already 6 and it is crucial that she be taught properly to not cause any injurys to her body as she gets older...I teach and dance at the moment and enjoy showing the parents the type of dancer I am so perhaps ask the teacher for a demonstration so you can tell if he/she would be the right sort of teacher for you and your child. Be aware there are a lot of studios out there with owners and teachers who shouldn't even be allowed to teach....You don't really have to be "qualified" to own your own dance studio. Look for hands on interaction with the children, small class size, dress code, and older dance instructors (not 13 year old assistants). And if you live in a big city ...and if they have a dance company call and get their suggestion about where a good dance school is in your area. Visit and view several, then choose the ones you both like!!! Good luck with her !!!

Oh my goodness! She is adorable! I think that you should sign her up for dance class as long as she wants to, but there is no question about that! When I was little that was all I did, so my parents signed me up for classes when I was 2 and now I am competing for a dance troupe! Good luck!-xo

Yes definitely. She's very high energy!!! It would be great for her to have a creative outlet to channel that energy into. If you lived close, I would even ask you about partnering her up with my son, who is also high energy and a competitive dancer. He's 11 right now and has already taken several 1st, 2nd and 3rd place spots at dance comps.

She has potential. It would be good to sign her up for dance class. It helps with co-ordination and balance. It's great exercise. It lets you express yourself through motion. If she likes dancing, why not? I think she would enjoy it! Of course, you will have to consider the costs and make your own decision.

Dance classes are great for any little girl. She'll probably love it if you did do that. It's a great thing to get girls into...it keeps them active and it's a great place for her to meet other little girls and make friends. I took dance all through elementary school. It's a wonderful experience.

Sign her up if SHE wants to dance, not if you want to become a 'dance mom'. She's six - she may lose interest in it after a while, but any structured exercise she partakes in happily is a good thing.

that is borderline however yeah but not to the hootchie mama music she is a little girl she dosen't need to be sexy at that age. Get her in tap and jazz they will do some cute numbers with costumes.
