It appears that you equate being responsible with not having fun. That's quite puzzling. I'm a very responsible person, but I have lots of fun in life!! Sometimes being responsible isn't fun. Sometimes it makes me miserable. I've learned that to live in this world is to act responsibly and most of the time that's OK. I've been playing with my darling grandson this afternoon. I'm responsible for his care and we're having a blast!

Responsibility comes naturally. I became responsible at a very young age because of the positions I was put in. But once you start realizing who you want to be and who you don't wnat to be then it will happen. (maturity)

There comes a point in everybody's life where you have to decide between what you want to do and what you need to do.
It's at that point you've taken the first step towards personal responsibility.

When you understand that bad things happen from acting irresponsibly, and
When you care too much to let bad things happen to other people or yourself, and
When you want to be independent and not have other people feel like they need to always be looking out for you, or want people to trust in you...
Then, you start acting responsibly.

be the sort of person you'd want to come to your aid in any situation, don't do anything you don't want to do, if you have to do stuff you don't want to do then make sure it's in the sun, bad times are so much better in the sun than they are in the rain, don't dwell on mistakes and bad decisions move on; and you can usually get away with anything; as long as it's funny enough
