Regardless of what all of us human beings say, we always have intention when we are doing something. so in your case i would say what was the intention of having text sex? it surely can't be just fun? why can't the married partners have text sex - of course that sound stupid but at the same time clarifies the reason why i have to say "i classify it as being 100% unfaithful".
Think about it!

If the 41 yr old is actually texting her own husband and pretending to be a 26 yr old to catch him out and find out how far he would go then that's entrapment not infidelity.
If the 41 yr old met the guy and subsequently started pretending to be a 26 yr because she knew that he did not fancy her and wanted some relationship with him anyway - then she is conning him, but may well magic up enough interest through what she says for him to sh#g her one day regardless of her age. But she is probably setting herself up for a big disappointment and is definitely being unfaithful.
Otherwise she is probably just bored and not actually going to do anything but flirt and would be better off killing time on yahoo answers like the rest of us. She is still being unfaithful though - anything you would not do with another person in front of your partner is infidelity

Its a lesser form of being unfaithful in my opinion, unfaithful to the max would be if they met and had sex.
People have told me that every man looks at porn and its normal, so what if they go a step further and watch live porn, I don't doubt many men would say this is ok too. Porn may be accepted as fine but personally if you have a guy that watches porn then he should accept that you are allowed to do pleasurable things such as texting, chatting or whatever works for you.
Lets face it men watch cleavages, legs etc and flirt in their conversations, women have the same rights!
Of course if he is one of the very few that don't act that way then I feel sorry for him, you would wonder what has made it come to that.

first of all, If you are 41, you are in your sexual prime. You know what you sexually want and how to get it. You know how to enjoy sex and the physical contact associated with it. Secondly, You are married? My advice is, stop pretending with text sex and lay your old man, letting him see the animal in you. You might find out that he still has a little wild beast left to give you. Or else tell the man you're really 41 and let him bang your brains out with a short term affair. It's quit a compliment for someone younger to flirt with us older folks and even have sex...but, my money is on real love. You can't beat it. And it will be there when the aches and pains of old age are the fling.

I would call this being unfaithful personally. Even if she's just doing it for fun and has no intention of actually meeting up with the guy she's texting, there must be something wrong in her marriage if she even needs to look elsewhere for that sort of thing.

well if your 41 i'm thinking you would have better spelling then that but...
well i think its stupid because you are having text sex with a guy who you "think" is 26.
He could be like 12... that would be werid? or even 70?
what do you mean they have met? im confused because you said that they havent met?
Spelling
U = You
R = are
Thinx = Think
its simple to add a few more letters

Nothing about it is right. She is lying to both men and everyone will be hurt in the end because of her lies and unfaithfulness.

Why is this important to you? They are having virtual fun and the scene has been set up that nothing can happen...she cannot meet for real, as that would end it. What's the big deal?

Let them get on with it. Its fictional sex not actual sex.
Sounds at though they are both enjoying it (perhaps in different ways).
Whats the problem? I dont see it

In the UK, cyber sex is admissible in court as adultery, yes, it is adultery. Text, chat box, telephone, or email, it's all the same.
