Here in America, we idolize the wrong people, no ifs ands or buts about it. We admire atheltic stars and pay them ridiculous salaries and leave our scientists and college professors by the wayside. Our children want to be thugs and gangsters, not teachers or researchers.

My question is, what is the source of this?

heres a poor fools story

think about this my name is TODD and I come from MANITOBA and embedded is the name TODD and the Plates say FRIENDLY MANITOBA and I went to ALBERTA and their plates say WILD ROSE COUNTRY and i met a woman named ROSE so it was the story of a TOP PROSPECT for famous relationships because TODD=ROSE DI(stitched together)E CuT is exactly what happened to Me as the photo shows. and i just noticed this 4 or five years after the "BLOODBATH" up on calgary hill where bikers tried to pretend one of their own was JESUS. I forgive him cause i make fun of scripture sometimes too. so i feel trapped by the words because I AM sure the words TOP PROSPECT existed before i was born. But the cut wrist thing scares me. no biker or voice told me to do it, it just happened cause i was angry. And reading the canadian signs:

I STOP I and I ARRET I are red because of the offer of his own blood this man who they said has INTIALS LTS who some called TOD and others called IARRE.

not to relate that to what preachers and television says about jesus this and jesus that, i say what if "Lamb who was SLAIN" contains the following "Larrib who was SL A I IV" cause if you squish those together "Lamb who was SLAIN" means the TODD who you also called Larri was SIL A I IV cuts. And bible also says the Lamb is the Lamp so that meant b=p=DI stitched together and as it turns out that appears IIII I . which on the arm could appear as DI. the inspiration for the italian DIO?

on account of rev.9.11 and the long held believe the KING of angels was Abaddon which you interpreted as A bad don. But now could mean A b add on. and b=a DI stitched together.

so which is the correct leader?

a bad don or a b add on?

sum it up.

don=41514=15=6=f
loser=121519518=33=6=f
thus don=loser

winner=2391414518=38=11=2=b

so the bible perdicts the Lamb who is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS and who was SLAIN or DI'ed will win. so the armies should just proclaim me the winner and save the war and killings for another century long after everybody now living is dead. and because i am an orphan they might just let me get away with it. so who in this world gives the right to say you are an angel?

so jealousy over the fame of my name and easygoing life is a threat to that criminal organization they call the hells angels made me a target, but atleast i will always be remembered because of the mathematical theory that every word can be added up succesively to one number or letter just like below

god=7154=17=8=h
good angel=7151541147512=44=8=h
angel of death=1147512156451208=53=8=h

so as it turns out god and angel of death are the same person and only over time can they be proved;

so MARCH APRIL MAY and reading from the h either way we see who the h really is. and why will i be called rebellious? because GOD JEHOVAH is in his rest and a memorial is written about Him your OT possibly and i ain't going to worship any angel but Me. because the first commandment says worship no god but Me. and if e=arm both picture wise and numerologically then Me is M arm and M=IVI Stitched together. thus god as Me says IVI stitched together arm. just as shown.

but that means only me is to worship me because it is the path to happiness for my inner peace. you should worship yourselves also if you want to make yourselves happi. i also beleive helping others is a good path too. and considering they mess i am in perhaps the world would have prefered i Died in that calgary bathtub. but our gracious Queen sent her officers to save me so I quess i owed her a favour. so if i rat out a criminal for her we can call it even.

This has never been more true than it is today

entertainment and advertising and just plain outright wasteful uses for resources surround us at every turn there is no escape from it every single aspect of our lives is marketed to and people eat it right up no one questions why or even cares for that matter meanwhile small towns disappear and our cities fall into deplorable living conditions becoming increasingly worse each year with millions out of work and more jobs being shut down everyday as the overall health and morale of the people is steadily declining

all the while entertainment and home/personal technology has completely taken over our lives and not just on a personal level on a whole social level people have become so "connected" that it seams we as a whole blindly follow whatever we are told through all possible forms of media

i see no end to this until people stand up and reject being force fed social standards and begin caring more for the betterment of mankind and less about the latest piece of tech or media

I sooo agree with you and this is a thing I have thought much on. There was a time when our scientists were our great heroes but that time seems to have past. I think that a big part of the problem is that the high end of science is now so esoteric that 99% of the population cannot even begin to understand what they are even studying. Combine that with the fact that science is, in general, often vilified by the religious right and you end up with Michael Jordon being a hero.

There is no better example given that people can follow. Alot of parents do not know how to raise their kids up in a loving manner, with discipline, only because the parents' parents couldn't do the same thing, and up and up the timeline you go. Another reason that is part of the whole is people like to admire who they think is good. Keep in mind that another will have a different idea of what is right and wrong than you. They belive in who they follow. They want to be like who they follow. They admire who they follow. Ego also plays a large part in this. But to say it simply, there is no good structure that is holding us up. I hope this helped.

The source of this is human nature, itself. It is not just the Americans who idolize the wrong people. What's exiting about Stephen Hawkings or Albert Einstein. To most people it's
b-o-r-i-n-g.

Ther are no vicarious thrills learning aboiut Louie Pasteur holding a test tube. Al Capone holding a machine gun--well, that's cool.

You know, I did a paper for my mythology class on the fact that "hero" today means something completely different than it used to. But I never really considered why we idolize so many unworthy people these days. Maybe it's because these people have something that we wish we had- fame, athletic skill, lots of money, etc. But I really don't know. I wish that the real heroes of our century got more credit though- people who volunteer their time to help the needy, people who work in schools trying to teach kids values as well as the abc's, people who try to solve the AIDS crisis. People who actually do something to better the world they live in, and we don't even know who they are. I'd like to know why, too.

Bruce Willis is cool when he blows up terrorists.

What did Barry Marshall do? (He won the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 2005 for his discovery of a bacterium and its role in peptic ulcers)

The source is entertainment! Hollywood is the city of satan!! lol! Just Joking, it is written the the first shall be last and vis versa.. so don't fret, but what we can do is acknowledge our teachers and researchers with our appreciation, that is priceless! ...and as far as 'gangsterfrenia' is concerned...it will all pass.

We do this because that is all we see on the television or on the radio, in concert etc. Parents do not pay attention to their children so they are left to idolize someone else.

The big C my friend, Rampant, Predatory Capitalism. Capitalism, and Consumerism, have turned a generation of kids into Label freaks, kids getting killed for Nikes and so on. Its the 'Me, Me, Me' culture that Capitalism springs that is doing this to our kids.

I idolize the exact right people. I don't know about you.

Other people make stupid choices of who to idolize because, uh, they're stupid. This is not a big mystery.
