My best friend is old enough to be my mother, she is really nice and caring but, here is the problem,, she treats me like a child but she gives her daughter what she wants. we live together for now until we can get money to go our seperate ways. she says that she is my elder. i thought when you became an adult you were equal with other adults. She is driving me up the wall. i dont want to throw her out because she has nothing. when she gets money to leave that is different. what should i do if need more detail just ask.

I would tell her that though she is older that gives her no right to boss you around. Tell her also that you are helping her and have every right to kick her out if she doesn't change her behavior.

i think that you should tell her how you feel, because if she can't move out there should be things out in the open if you just stay roommates. tell her how you feel, and if she isn't enough of a friend to change how she treats you and she knows that it bothers you, then work something out where you could live in a civil environment. you said that she was nice and caring, maybe she will come around if she knows how much it bothers you. good luck!!
