I would consult a physician first ppls body chemistry are different no you shouldnt blow your nose until it heals after consulting your Dr. then you should make your decision on whether you should do it if you have to blow your nose remove the ring first but taking it in and out before it heals make it more prone to infection and irritation yes it will hurt no matter the size of the ring your eyes will tear up but for vanitys sake you will endure and overcome I hope this helps you to make an intelligent decision.

Getting your nose pierced doesn't hurt much worse then getting your ears pierced. But then pain is a subjective thing. No one can really tell you how much it's going to hurt you, because we all have different sensitivities to different feelings. Like some people are ticklish while others are not. When I had my nose pierced it took about a week and half give or take a couple days, for it to heal up. The guy who pierced my nose advised my friend who has bad allergies not to have hers done. Because the rubbing from blowing her nose all the time could cause an infection. That and he found that when people have allergies they tend to need to take the ring out allot which leads to the hole closing. At least thats what we were told, so you can take it for what it's worth.

When I got mine pierced it hurt a lot and bled a lot, because it pierced through the cartilage in my nose ( a kind of bone).. anyways it's 2 years I have it now and I have no problems blowing my nose! At first it hurts a lot but give it time to heal and everything should be just fine!

It doesn't really hurt getting it done, it just pinches a bit. For me, the most uncomfortable part was having her adjust the jewlery. I was pierced with a custom bent nose screw. I don't think my piercer had pierced too many black girls my nose is thick so she had to rebend the screw while it was in my nose. Now it didn't hurt, but it is just really uncomfortable to have someone playing around in your nose.

What DOES hurt is snagging it on a towel, sweater, pillow or with your glasses. So after you wash your face, pat it dry with a paper towel.

You can blow your nose with it still in. You shouldn't take it out until it is completely healed (about 4 to 8 weeks depending on your body.)

I have the worst allergies. They have been so bad that I can't wear my contacts and have to wear glasses. If you wear glasses or sunnies, becareful when sliding them up and down your nose. Talk about ouchies.

Just make sure that if you have a cold or allergies, you keep it clean. I use a qtip or cotton ball moistened with warm sea salt water during the day. I soak it in 8 oz's of the sea salt solution in the morining and at night after I wash my makeup off to make sure there is no soap or gunk in it. The proper mix of sea salt to water is 1/4 tsp to 8oz of water. I just got a gallon jug of distilled water and added 4 tablespoons, shook it and kept it in the fridge.
When you need to make a soak, take the jug out, shake it and heat up a cup of it in the microwave. The solution is only good for about a week, which is how long a gallon should last if you soak twice a day.

P.S. Mine didn't bleed at all, but every person is different. Make sure you do your research on your piercer before you let them poke you.

Good luck and happy healing

It does not hurt at all. It is like a small sting at first but after an hour it is gone. I had a nose ring when I was a teenager but I no longer have it since I am soon going to start my career. But do not worry, it will not interfere with you blowing your nose or anything like that.

it hurts a little when they pierce it but after that it never hurts. i have really bad allergies and i get colds a lot as well and it has never been a problem for me. i never take mine out you just learn to be more gentle when youre blowing your nose and things like that.

Yes, it hurts. You can still blow your nose and if you have allergies are are prone to constant nose blowing, stuffed noses, or sneezeing, nose piercing will only agitate these symptoms, so I don't recommend it.

I had mine done last year and it didn't hurt at the time but it got infected and that did hurt. After it cleared it was fine, and yes you can blow your nose, the most annoying thing is losing your stud when washing your face, thats happened a few times!!!

It does hurt when the needle goes thru your nostril, but no more after that. Yes, you can blow your nose wit it peirced, it's in there pretty securely. Just keep it clean with the soap they should give you and a q-tip, you should be fine.
