You're trying to compare science to the paranormal and it doesn't work. The Bermuda Triangle is roughly an equilateral triangle whose points are Miami, Puerto Rico and of course Bermuda. the area occasionally eats an airplane or ship and no wreckage is found- as if it disappeared into thin air.
Mars on the other hand was one of the five planets known to the ancients- along with mercury ,Venus ,Jupiter and Saturn.
If a single cell organism is found on mars, it radically alters the "we are the only life in the universe"point of view. Upgrade that by a couple of million cells, say a spider and the implications to our life on earth are huge.

I have no clue why (other than for fun, exploration, and ways to get rid of billions of extra money) we are going to explore mars. But I'm not sure why we would explore the Bermuda Triangle either. okay, I'll answer! Both are important, but I think it's more important that we understand the planet that affects our everyday lives and the future, than a distant planet. We have a lot of mysteries and problems here. Still, lessons can be learned from both. Not sure about the Bermuda Triangle - bit of a romantic notion to me.

The World Cup is on right now, which may explain lack of answers!
